CrashCurtiss Posted October 30, 2009 Report Share Posted October 30, 2009 I had my 900 for about 6 months working mildly flawless. Had a real 3.0 upgrade and everything was running smoothly. My bluetooth starting acting up so I wanted to reinstall the OS. As soon as I reverted back to 2.0 the start up splash screen wont leave and reboots after 2 min. I have tried multiple formats and 2.0, 2.006, 3.0, 3.1, installs as well as different maps. I have tried at least 10 installs win no different results. What am I missing here? Iwbsingle Posted October 30, 2009 Report Share Posted October 30, 2009 1 of the biggest questions u will get as u go along, did u backup ur unit i guess we r both n the same boat, so what i did was got a hold of a good testmode download (which u will need 2 get n 2 ur unit when making any changes) i am now looking 4 a set of backup fils because my unit started doing this crazy stuff b4 i knew any of this. outside of having a backup 4 ur unit this site is the best source 4 info & knowledge that i have come across. i hope u find this little info useful Quote Link to post Share on other sites

It has worked for me in the past without any issues so I would not guess thats this issue. Yes i have a good version of testmode before every new install I unmounted my drive and format it.
