res0tm5t
I recently purchased an AVIC-F900bt which didn't come with the micropohone for hands free operation. The Pioneer website for replacement parts shows cpm1064 as the mic that I guess comes with the unit. Well I purchased a CD-VM1 which appears to be the same. The problem I have is that when I try to tell the TTS who to call or what to do it doesn't understand me BUT when I select someone to call from my contacts, I can carry on a converstion perfectly. I was told a mic is mic & was wondering what you guy's think I should try next? I will say I am using a Blackberry 8350 which I did get to sync via bluthooth. I also tried both upgrade versions of software the primary & alternate. Any Ideas.................................PLEASE
whoopidoo2
It may have something to do with placement. Where did you mount it? If it's in the corner you might have this problem. Once I moved mine more center (mine is on the right-front-edge of my visor) all of my problems with voice recognition went away.
res0tm5t
I have placed it everywhere. I can even temp mount the AVIC and hold the the mic in my hand & it still wont work right. I went ahead and ordered the 3.0 upgrade does anyone think this might help me resolve my problem?
