dianebrat
If you're running 3.0 then this is unfortunately one of the new "features" I used to have it happen once or twice a month with the ipod that lives in my glovebox, now it's every morning. It's not the ipod spinning down or running the battery, it seems to be the AVIC forgetting to wake up the ipod.
07Ex
Wow, that sucks! Glad I read this before "upgrading" to v3.0.

dianebrat
BUmp The answer is still the same, it hasn't changed, bumping a topic won't magically have Pioneer fix this one
