e39m5
I've had iPod connection issues with my unit F90BT since day 1. Very few iPods connect like they're supposed to. For some reason, the unit very rarely detects that an iPod is connected. After I plug one in, the USB icon will remain rather than switching to iPod. Occasionally, the unit will see the iPod, and then it will lose it in the middle of a drive without me touching anything. Sometimes, after numerous reconnects I can get it to find the iPod again, other times I'm stuck listening to the radio. I updated to 3.0 (not with the official update), and there was still no improvement. Anyway, this got frustrating enough that I pulled out the unit and sent it in to Pioneer for repairs. They simply reloaded the software and sent it back. I'm very doubtful that was the issue because I had updated the software before and it didn't change anything. Does this sound like a hardware issue or a software issue to you? e39m5
VBLUE42
Did you search this forum before posting? That is an issue many people have had and have discussed in length here. The overall solution for a lot of people has been to replace the Pio cable with the Apple Composite AV cable.
