I made mine out of a piece of ABS plastic to form mine, then wet-sanded it and painted it with some rust-o-leum flat-black paint to match my A4 interior. It looks pretty clean. Although my Z1 is mounted to where it sticks out past the face plate. I may just mounted it flush like yours... clean ride man. I wish I had an S4, but I decided not to drop the extra loot.
