mrMTB
I've been keeping an eye on the number of satellites that my nav system sees and uses for navigation (Home > Settings > Navigation > Connection). According to the manual, the first icon is for the satellites that the system detects, and the second is for the number that it is using for positioning. While mine regularly shows 8-11 detected, it is using 0 or 1 for positioning information. I originally figured it was on account of where I located the antenna (under my dash in the factory nav antenna location), but after moving it to the top of the dash, it's no better (and maybe even worse). Is this normal for the unit, or should I be talking to Pioneer about a possible warranty return?
VBLUE42
As long as your position on the map is where it should be there is nothing to worry about.
mrMTB
Yeah, that's the other thing I'm noticing... If I'm on a street that has parallel roads close by, it has me located on one of the parallel roads, not the one on which I'm traveling. It's a bit frustrating.
