z110bt street names disappearing

just got my Z in late October , Build date on the box is July 09 , does anyone have this problem?

 

On the navi screen if i have set a destination or if even if it is just following, not all the street names are coming on the lines. even major intersections. Somtimes all the street names disappear altogether only to show up 6 blocks later? Any ideas> Second what sat numbers are normal in the red or yellow areas? Anyone?

I have the same qualm with the street names...

 

As far as # of sats I see: after a few minutes, I'll normally see 10-11 in the amber, and 0 or 1 in yellow. I was wondering if it was abnormal since I was frequently off on closely-spaced streets....

Thats what my sat signals are as well, so that must be normal but what about those street names? and is it just me or are the street lines themselves skinny and stringy.

 

You would think someone could program the street names to come up as your driving so you know the streets around you that you might not know.with the size of the screen dont tell me there wouldnt be enough room.

I noticed the street name problem when in 3D mode but not not in 2D mode.

I get that problem with both 3D and 2D

I drove for 1 hour today and only 10 street names appearred randomly. this is very annoying since you cant track your progress by identifying your current surroundings especially if your in an unfamiliar area.

 

Anyone with any ideas? is this a programming problem or TeleAtlas problem. It seems that it just gives up after a short period of time.
