travthesav23 Posted January 2, 2010 Report Share Posted January 2, 2010 Hello I do not own a Pioneer nav unit yet but I am looking to purchase one and if I am goin to fork out a hand full of cash I want to make sure it can do what i need it to do so I need a unit with the following features I'm hoping you can point me in the right direction and reccomend a model cause I can not find a unit with these features.The items with stars next to them are mandatory features. 3d maps *blue button led lighting *factory steering wheel compatible *ipod/iphone compatible also video atleast a six inch screen prefer 7 * most important I want to be able to listen to my ipod while the map is up and if possible even change tracks for the nav map rear cam compatible customizable home screen (but what ever pics i want) album art from ipod and ipod intergration so the ipod can be in the glove box sd card reader update maps through sd card I know that Pioneer offer theese features but on different units as far as I have seen. I have been looking at some older units aswell and i was wondering if any of these units do what is listed above : avic- d1 , avic d-2 , avic-d3 , avic-700bt , avic-x710bt avic 500bt Quote Link to post Share on other sites
