rhwd2003
I just purchased the Z110 BT and looking for which satellite radio tuner. I see some sites have two different options and was curious what is the difference since XM & Sirius merged. Pioneer SC-C1+CD-SB10 - $134 (Sirius) Pioneer GEX-P920XM - $95 (XM) Why is the Sirius one more expensive? I have heard you could also tag songs and memorize songs and it will alert you when they are playing on another channel and also your fav teams are broadcasted. Which package would I need from the above to get that? Thanks! Rich
VBLUE42
I just purchased the Z110 BT and looking for which satellite radio tuner. Pioneer SC-C1+CD-SB10 - $134 (Sirius) Pioneer GEX-P920XM - $95 (XM) Why is the Sirius one more expensive? Those tuners were released before the merger and are still the current tuners compatible with the unit. The Sirius tuner is a two part solution so it has a higher price. There is no word as of yet if Pioneer will release a joint tuner. I have heard you could also tag songs and memorize songs and it will alert you when they are playing on another channel and also your fav teams are broadcasted. Which package would I need from the above to get that? Thanks! Rich Both tuners support the MEMO function.
rhwd2003
Blue thanks so much for the quick response. So I should just go with the cheaper XM one then right?
VBLUE42
Thats the one that I use and I am happy with it. It is also made by Pioneer and has a little better user interface then the Sirius option. You can still get the Best of Sirius with the XM option.
CamelTowing
Depends which content you like better. Only about 70% is shared between the two. If there is something you desperately want, you better make sure its available on the one you choose
