mustang88 Posted January 6, 2010 Report Share Posted January 6, 2010 Hey guys I got my new Avic z110bt installed today and I was playing with the bluetooth music streaming on the unit. For some reason you can only use the play and pause button on the Avic unit, you cannot select any songs and it doesn't display any info on whats playing. Also to change the songs you must select it from the Iphone. I know that the AVIC has the support for both A2DP and AVRCP but does the Iphone 3gs support these features? Iphone software version: 3.1.2 And one last quick question how can I tell which map version I have where can i find this on the unit screen? Thanks!! Quote Link to post Share on other sites
VBLUE42 Posted January 6, 2010 Report Share Posted January 6, 2010 The 3G/3GS only supports A2DP. There may be extended support with the 4th gen phone or the 4.0 software expected this summer when the new phone is released. There may also be a hack available if you have your phone jailbroken but I have not ran across any info for sure.
