Newf Posted January 24, 2010 Report Share Posted January 24, 2010 I am having a lot of problems with people hearing me when use the bluetooth. The mic is not sensitive enough. Is there something that can be done with this? Can a different mic be used? If so, is a recommendation for another brand of mic to use for the AVIC-X910BT? Quote Link to post Share on other sites

ndy4eva Posted February 9, 2010 Report Share Posted February 9, 2010 I saw few post regarding the Pioneer external mic (included with the nav unit) isn't the best. When I had U310BT, my wife complained about the voice quality. So, when I ordered x710BT, I ordered Garmin external mic as well. I haven't had chance to really test the BT on x710 and F500 with new Garmin mic. I will let you know if this is actually better than Pioneer mic.
