Sometimes when I turn the unit on the iPod is working, sometimes not. To fix it, I just unplug and plug back in the iPod. Then the icon lights up and it works perfectly. Any clues? And, what does this do to help my situation? Please explain further. Thank you, Steve ps: iPods cannot be backed up without 3 ed party software... I have 75 gig of music on my iPod. Restoring and resyncing your data almost always clears up stubborn iPod issues.. And syncing 160 gigs of content only takes me about an hour and a half on my system.
