coolerking
I just installed an Avic 910 bt in my 05 Tundra and found out about the whole bypass ordeal. I didn't hook up the speed signal, parking break sensor or reverse sensor cause I didn't know the wirning on my truck. The question I have is do I need to hook up any of those and for the bypass is all i need to do is ground the brake sensor wire? Why do you move the mute wire? Any help with knowing what wires to use on the tundra or how to fix the bypass would be apreciated.
VBLUE42
Dont worry about why you need to move the wire. That has been discussed numerous times on this forum. All you need to do is follow the bypass instructions for the F or X series unit and you will be good to go. Details for the bypass are in the F series hacks and mods. whoopidoo2
This thread might help with the VSS wire. http://avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=18628&start=0&hilit=tundra
