Itchy Posted December 7, 2006 Report Share Posted December 7, 2006 Purchased a remanufactured unit and installed it about 2 weeks ago along w/ ipod & xm tuner. 1st week worked great. 2nd week randomly after shutting off the vehicle for an extended period of time, then restarting, it loses the preset angle adjustment, equalizer settings, presets, etc.... as if the memory wire was disconnected. Any suggestions? I guess I can check the yellow wire to make sure it's firmly connected, but the unit has never shut off during operation. Thanks, Mark Quote Link to post Share on other sites
cntrylvr79 Posted December 7, 2006 Report Share Posted December 7, 2006 What kind of vehicle is it it. You also need to check the ground wire too. If either the yellow or black wires lose contact the unit will do exactly what you're talking about. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
