Is it possible to re-direct faulty mic input to AV2?

Recommended Posts

No. And what makes you think it is defective?

An Pioneer approved engineer told me so.

It cost way too much to get it fix, as it involve replacing the whole navi board (Unfortunately not under warrantee).

Well, that doesn't mean anything. They have told people far more ridiculous things in the past because they didn't know the answer to the problem. What kind of problem are you having?

It's because I used the wrong microphone with adapter, and it pushed the microphone input back, the engineer checked it and attempt to do a by pass by soldering the mic lead directly to motherboard, but concluded it is not repairable.
