Azimuth
It seems to me that the Z110BT's strength is it's iphone capability. I don't have an iphone nor do I plan to get one. I really like the voice control options in the NAV software. I plan on playing music from either SD card or USB drive. Also I hope it will A2db stream my podcasts from my android device. I have read that the navigation software could be better with more POI's etc. I'm not sure if these limitations will affect my use of the product. Does anyone have any insight into whether the $800 (6ave with $200 rebate) price tag is worth it if i don't plan on utilizing the iphone capabilities? Would I be better off looking at other units that allegedly have better NAV components but are not so iphone robust? I have looked at other units -everything seems to be around the same price. VBLUE42
Everything focuses on the iPhone/iPod family of devices. As to weather you should get something else is up to you.
Azimuth
I have not seen any videos of mp3 playback via USB, or A2DB via Android. Can anyone help me visualize what this will be like on the Z110BT?
VBLUE42
Theres not much to it. Its going to do the same thing any A2DP device will. Stream audio over BT. The controls you get are play and pause and that goes for any device you have connected as an A2DP device.
Azimuth
Thanks VBlue for the info. Does mp3 on usb playback allow you to browse and view id3 tag data? Also, is it possible to connect 2 rear headrest monitors. All documentatiuion I have seen shows just one output.
CamelTowing
For headrest monitors, you just split the video signal into two, three, four, or however many monitors you have
