truk881 Posted March 11, 2010 Report Share Posted March 11, 2010 Hi All, I have been scouring this forum and other websites for answers but this is my first install and the questions are rather specific. I am installing a pioneer avh-3200BT in a stock Subaru Forester XT 2005. I got the Metra subaru harness adapter and have connected a most of the wires but had a question on the final few. 1. Can I use the ground in the subaru harness or do I need to ground to the frame? 2. Do I connect the pioneer illumination wire to the illumination or dimmer wire on the harness? 3. Do I connect the pioneer system control wire to the harness antenna wire? 4. Do I leave the reverse gear wire and system mute wire unconnected? Thanks in advance.
