narbi
Hey guys, I just got the z110 bt installed and I'm having trouble with my iphone 3gs. We all already know about the album art being distorted but I am getting distortion with the audio when it's being connected with the oem pioneer ipod connector. By distortion I mean there is a low/medium sounding hissing noise coming from all the speakers when the iphone is used. If I have my volume around 30-35 and pause the music you can hear the hiss very clearly. I have tried using an actual iPod and there is no hissing noise. I have also tried BT audio through the iphone 3gs and audio is clear with no hiss. Any idea what it can be?? Thanks!

VBLUE42
Try a different iPod and see if you get the same result. If you don't, the issue is with the phone. If you do, its probably the cable.
stoveken
try adjusting the SLA setting when in ipod mode. if you turn the sla up you wont need to have the volume number up so high to get the same vol and the hiss will be almost completely gone jim
