sallysky Posted April 2, 2010 Report Share Posted April 2, 2010 I think I may have discovered a way to play liveTV on the iphone w/o jailbreaking the phone. I have the F500BT. I am a Mac user so I also have EyeTV. EyeTV can stream live TV through Safari on the iphone. I bookmarked the EyeTV3 to the home screen. Set the application to be able to find my home media server. I connected the ipod using the pioneer cable then set the AVIC to AV. Launched the app and was streaming live TV. Sometimes the video gets choppy but it does work. I also find that sometimes I get the unsupported accessory error and then it doesn't work. I do prefer sling player but won't jailbreak the phone to use it. This is promising though.
