Cr@zY FreD Posted April 4, 2010 Report Share Posted April 4, 2010 PLEASE HELP i have tryed to update a US version to OZ maps i had left it at V2 firmware and tryed to load V20a updates after this the radio and dvd still worked but as soon as you try to use nav the "system start up please wait" messgae appears and doesn't disapear so i went to test mode to and overwrote APL2 and DATA with the old one from my backup after this nothing works, when you start the unit the Pioneer screen comes up but a message saying "load library error" appears and you can't do anything (see picture for error message) should i update to V3 firmware to solve this ??? 34by151 Posted April 4, 2010 Report Share Posted April 4, 2010 Well that's your problem you have tried to put a V3 update on V2 firmware The maps for igo 8.3 are not compatible with 8.0 Restore your backup then use the V2 updates for the correct OZ maps for your firmware Cheers 34by151 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

34by151 Posted April 4, 2010 Report Share Posted April 4, 2010 You will fin test mode is included with the V2downloads, just boot on the sd card Make a new directory on your sd copy my flash disk to that dir delete the all the files on my flash disk copy the files from the backup you made when installing the V3maps to my flash disk remove the sd and reboot cheers 34by151 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
