Powering Down in high heat

Recommended Posts

My 920BT will not start up during hot weather, durin the morning and evening it works perfectly, however, in the hot afternoon, the system will not power up. It will freeze at the startup screen of make it to system startup screem and then rest. So I'm assuming it has some kinda of heat protection function and its trying to protect its self. Has anyone else had this problem, if so how do I fix it?

I live in El Paso TX and drive a Black Car with a Black Interior, so i understand it gets very hot inside my car. However, its not even Summer yet, its only about 86 degrees outside side what will happen when it starts getting really hot??

I'm having a similar issue. When it's really hot and the car sits in the sun the ATT comes on and I can't adjust the volume until the car cools down a little inside. Usually about 10 minutes or so. Did you find a remedy for your problem? Bob
