02RSX
I just installed my Z110BT in my 2002 Acura RSX Base and I am having a couple of problems: When I connect my iPhone 3G using the CD-IU50V cable, it doesn't always recognize. I usually get an error that says the accessory is not made to work with the iPhone. How can I fix this so that I can play music from my iPhone? (See below for screenshot of my iPhone) Also, the navigation is not accurate. It usually displays the arrow about a block away from where I actually am. I have tried to use the 'Adjust Current Location' but it just goes back to being inaccurate again. I have verified that my GPS connection is OK and that my VSS wire is connected. (See below for pictures). Any help would be appreciated!
VBLUE42
For the iPhone issue, you might want to do a full restore and re-sync your content. If that doesn't work, you may have a damaged pin in your dock connector or the cable that handles the signals for the compliance check. Try another iPod or iPhone and see if you get the same result. The GPS issue is common and will take between several hundred to 1K miles to properly calibrate. You will notice it getting better as the unit calibrates. I don't think you should worry for now on the GPS.
02RSX
Thanks for the info about the GPS. I've already tried to restore and re-sync my iPhone, but still no luck. I will try to use different cables and another iPod to see if that makes a difference.
VBLUE42
As a quick troubleshoot, use the iPhone charge cable and see if it gives the same error. If it doesn't, you have a defective iPod cable.
