AVIC 710 - Audio Source Turns Off

I installed a x710 in my wife's car about 2 months ago. We have had an intermittent problem where the audio source intermittently turns off.

 

We'll be driving down the road listening to the radio - typically Sirius in case it matters - when the audio goes away. We wait a few seconds thinking it may be an interruption or something, then look at the display and the audio source says OFF. We go into the audio source menu and turn it back on and everything is again ok.

 

Sometimes this happens once or twice a day, especially on long trips, but most of the time it's several days or weeks between occurrences. It has done this with stock settings and also with Diaftia's mods installed.

 

Anyone else seen this? I was thinking of reapplying the newest firmware update even though that's what it came with.
