Avic F Series Ipod Connection Issue FIX

Recommended Posts

I know a lot of people have issues with the ipod connection upon starting your vehicle for some reason it won't reconize it, so here's the fix to that annoying issue.

First, start your car and if the ipod is not recognized, don't unplug it and plug it back okay!!!

Second, play any song on the ipod and pause it, now shut the car down for a few seconds then turn it back on, okay so here's the tricky part, 2 of the following things might happen, #1) black screen will show up with the OFF message on the up left corner. #2) Ipod will be recognized and of course music will start playing. Now if you get the #1 do the following, tap once on the OFF button (up left corner) and you should see the ipod available, Tap on it and let the VR dictionary load, once it completes wait for a few seconds and shut the car down, wait for the ipod to automatically shut down and turn your car back on. It should Work now:).

If you get #2 let the VR dictionary load, once it completes wait for a few seconds and shut the car down, wait for the ipod to automatically shut down and turn your car back on. It should Work now:)

MAKE SURE NOT TO UNPLUG THE IPOD AT ALL DURING THE PROCESS, if you do need to unplug it to add more music to it you have to do the same thing all over again but it's worth it guys. ENJOY
