JohnnyDepp
Just to let folks know that the HTC EVO BY SPRINT DOES WORK WITH THE AVIC -D 3 Kind of surprising, actually. Some other HTC smartphones do NOT work correctly with the old D3/CD-BTB200 combo...and since the CD-BTB200 firmware/software can NEVER be updated, people who own the CD-BTB200 will have to live with the older Bluetooth standards compliance (or lack thereof, since Pioneer made some Bluetooth stack errors when they programmed it). Are you indeed using the CD-BTB200 Bluetooth add-on for the D3? Also, which functions work? Contacts transfer? Auto-connect? Audio streaming? Perhaps you should gather some more details about which functions work and which don't, and then add this to the many existing threads dedicated to Bluetooth and AVIC compatibility? Somebody has been maintaining a master spreadsheet of these, and you could be of some help to them with a more thorough post.
