F90BT Reset Phone

I have my phone, LG Envy 3, paired with the blue tooth and it works fine, sending and receiving calls, phone book, voice dialing...etc all work. Except when I get a text message my phone resets itself. I know if you have the unit in TTS mode it will supposedly read your text message so thought it might be because of that so switched back to regular speech, Jason English, but it still turns off the phone. Is there any reason why my phone would reset itself?

 

Also another thing to note is that it says new message from "unknown" and not the person's name like it does when sending and receiving calls. Any help would be much appreciated.
