highpowergarage
I am thinking about upgrading from a FHP8000bt to a AVHP4200DVD head unit. I already have the sirius receiver and the Pioneer IPBus Sirius adapter with a Pioneer HD radio module connected to the CD changer input on the Pioneer Sirius IP bus.... Can I add the Pioneer Bluetooth adapter in addition on the new head unit? Is there a device limit?
rgarjr
There is no limit on how many devices u can add on the IP bus. The bluetooth on the 4200 is very limited and basic.
highpowergarage
Thanks... Just daisy chain them together! I would like to end up with BT audio and BT hands free. I don't really care that much about voice dialing. I have a droid.
highpowergarage
In further researching it looks like the Bt on the 4200 is too basic. I guess the only answer is the 3200bt and deal with the smaller screen or the older z110. I already have two nav units - android and garmin and can't see spending over 1k bucks on a updated Avic z110.... Pioneer sure doesn't make it easy!
rgarjr
I told u BT was really basic on the 4200. Yeah your best bet is the 3200Bt.
