Pac PSI-PS skips presets

I've tried researching this and haven't found a solution to my frustrating problem.

 

I have a x910bt with a GEX-P10HD tuner and Pac PSI-PS steering wheel interface. For some reason when i am listening to HD radio and I use the steering wheel control to change a station it will act as if I hit the button 3 to 4 times and skip a bunch of stations. If I revert back to regular radio it won't skip at all. Is there a firmware update that will fix this or maybe the GEX-p20HD would work better?

 

Let me know if anyone else has experienced this and or has any ideas of how to solve this.
