dougdu
I received the Z110BT -> Z120BT upgrade package yesterday and started the automatic portion of the upgrade just fine. The upgrade progressed to 80% complete (about 4 min remaining) and then popped up a message that the "Wrong SD card was detected, please insert the correct card". I checked the SD card on my computer and was able to copy all the data off so I know it's not the card, but I tried a different card with the same results. My unit was at the 1.001 software level (parking brake patch) has anyone done an upgrade over this patch? Pioneer says I need to pull the unit and ship it in for repair, if anyone has any ideas as to anything else to try first I'd love to hear it. Thanks, - Doug
bit_bucket
I did my z120 upgrade over the patch level you listed and had no issues. You may have a problem with your unit. The other thing you can try to do a full reset of the system, IE remove negative lead from battery and reconnect it after a few mins, and do a Reset Unit from the z itself to return it to factory and then try the update. Keep in mind that this will delete some of your settings.
