1loudls
sounds like you need to reload all of the units software
onemanarmy
Mine is doing the same thing. I contacted pioneer and they sent me an SD card with updates. Completely useless. Then said to send it in and pay $70. I don't see why I should pay for pioneers screw up. I want to try the f900 fix but can't find the testmode files.
1loudls
if your unit was under warranty, then you wouldn't have to pay anything, its the same story as with everything you buy. its not pioneers fault that its out of warranty, do you think a dealership would repair a car for free if it was out of warranty? slmd95s10
Mine does the exact same thing except when I try to do the update with the sd card sent to me by pioneer, it will only make it up to 46% and then the screen will go red and stop the update. I'm afraid I might brick my unit and then it becomes useless. Can anybody chime in on how they fixed theirs? I can't live without my avic!! Forgot to add my unit is an F700BT running v2.00 software. Trying to update to v2.006000 with the sd supplied by pioneer

How has there not been a class action law suite against pioneer for complete lack of product/customer support?
