syardell Posted August 4, 2010 Report Share Posted August 4, 2010 My installer programmed my up/down channel buttons on my steering wheel to change the manual tuning of the radio station. Not very helpful. I want the channel buttons to switch between my stored preset channels. Is this possible on the Z-120? Switching between preset stations can only be done through the touch screen. Are we limited to controlling only the hard-wired buttons at the bottom of the Z-120 through the PAC interface? As a followup, what functions have people chosen to program their steering wheel buttons with? Others have suggested using the steering wheel's "mode" button as the VR button, which I like. VBLUE42 Posted August 4, 2010 Report Share Posted August 4, 2010 I want the channel buttons to switch between my stored preset channels You can but you will loose the ability to skip tracks on CD, DVD, SD, USB, or iPod if you only have one set of buttons on your steering wheel to program to. So I asked the audio tech to program my "up" button as the "next track" and my "down" button on the steering wheel as the "next preset". I rarely use the back function so this works out for me.
