pman895
So I just had my Z120 installed but when I try and connect it to through BT to my blackberry it says that no device is found. When I go through my BB i find an Audio device to connect to but it wont allow me to connect. My friends Iphone3GS connected straight away but my other friends BB wouldnt connect either. I reset my phone and still nothing. Any suggestions?
VBLUE42
Get rid of the BB.
dropinbro
Which BB are you running and with which OS? I set my 9650 up with my 120 yesterday without issue. When you go to set it up on the 120 under bluetooth settings, go to "setup bluetooth" on the berry and instead of search, select "listen". You will then have to type in 1111 on your berry when prompted for the password. You should be golden from there.
pman895
Thanks I tried that earlier today, it didnt work, I just tried it again and it didnt work at first and then the paired device popped up. Thanks a lot. Now I just need to determine why my bypass isnt working. haha
VBLUE42
What issue are you having with the bypass?
pman895
The message keeps coming up on the screen that there is an improper connection with the park brake lead...then it shuts off after 10mph.
VBLUE42
You have a connection issue with the bypass or its not done correctly. Did you follow the instructions on this site?
pman895
I had a friend who installs NAV systems do it, he said it was working, but now it isnt. I will take it back to him and have him check that all wires were grounded correctly, anything else I should check for?
VBLUE42
Make sure he follows the bypass directions on this forum. Tell him you don't want him adding any switches or relays or any extra crap like that. The proper way to do the bypass is on this forum.
