How to Add POI's from 3rd Party Websites

Recommended Posts

I found a website that has customized POI categories, ie dunkin donuts, wendys, burger king, north american hockey rinks, etc..., "POIFriend", and it even gives the ability to download the files in Avic format, KML. However, the pioneer avicfeeds program that I downloaded from the pioneer electronics website only will load the file onto an SD card, at which point if you put the card into the head unit, the POIs show up under the subdirectory, but once you remove the SD card, the POIs go away. I've tried to find out how in these forums to permanently add the POI's to my head unit so i dont have to keep the SD card inserted, but have come up empty. Can some one assist?

Thanks,

Don
