X920BT and Sirius docking station

Recommended Posts

Just installed the X920BT and I have my Sirius docking station with receiver hooked into the head unit via the FM direct connection through the antenna. After thinking about it, I wondered if I coulda hooked the dock up to one of the AV RCA jacks to the video hook up; using a 3.5mm to RCA jack harness. Can anyone advise if they might work? If not, can anyone advise of another way of hooking it up. I'm really not crazy about using the FM direct connect...i think I'm losing some sound quality with it. Thank you in advance for the assitance.

yes you can just use a AV input and a RCA-3.5aux cable

or you could try this alone with the pioneer Sirius communication adapter

then you should be able to use it through the touch screen, im not sure what models it works with, but if compatible, it works great.

U need to buy the Pioneer Sirius interface box and connect it that way. U will be able to control the tuner and clean audio.

if compatible, the model i linked to will turn a plug & play portable unit into a direct connect the same as the hide away boxes with touch screen controls but then you can also remove the unit and use it in a different car
