Avic d3 ipod/iphone charge

I have an iphone 4 and ive been reading about the passthrough devices that will charge it with the cd 1200 cable. can someone confirm that the dockstubz cablejive cable DOES work to charge the newer ipods and iphones?

i guess it is much easier to just start another useless D3/charging ipod thread instead of searching and reading one of the thousand other threads about the same thing.

well here is some more helpful input, maybe instead of starting a new thread you should have just bumped one of the existing treads by asking you question there, to help make them more complete instead of just adding more threads about the same thing which does negatively affect how well the search feature works.
