gogo2390
I have an avic-d3 and was interested in getting the cd-btb200, but I have an iphone and read that the contact book import doesnt work. I have a few ideas: 1)Can you download the entire contact book to your computer (vcard) (take it from outlook) and then take your laptop to your car and export to the unit over bluetooth? 2) If your iphone is jailbroken, download iBluetooth or ibluenova---this allows bluetooth transfer of vcards http://iphonehelp.in/2010/02/16/ibluenova-review/ http://www.iphonehacks.com/2009/03/iblu ... tooth.html this is how to use this app for adding to a mercedes headunit, but I'm assuming the cd-btb200 allows the same vcard transfer process http://www.mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w ... ne-hu.html I'm not sure how the unit functions, but I assume that the iphone wont be linked to the uploaded address book. Should this matter? doesnt the AVIC just to a contact..find the number...and dial it through the phone attached? I dont have the ability to try either of these (I dont want to spend 150 if it wont work) but if anyone feels like giving this a try please let me know.
