I Just bought a used Z2 from a friend, it was working fine in his car, but he was only using the black power connector; he doesn't have the white "connector 1" or "2" plug2. Can I still to do emergency brake bypass on my Z2? PS, I also don't have the piece that connects to the brake wire. The Z2 works fine except for the part that involves the emergency brake connector. Do I need the white "Connector 1" plug to do the bypass? Its about $50 from Pioneer and I don't really need it for any other reason. Anyway to do the bypass without this connector? has anyone managed to connect the one wire from connector 1 to connector 2 and ground it? Thank you for your help. 1loudls Posted September 13, 2010 Report Share Posted September 13, 2010 well part of the bypass is to move and ground the mute wire, if you dont have the harness with that wire then its gonna be real hard to do the bypass, you may be able to find a connector small enough to slide and stay on the correct pin, but thats not going to be an easy task Quote Link to post Share on other sites
