wang_hnt Posted December 26, 2006 Report Share Posted December 26, 2006 installed the XDV-P9 dvd changer with my avic d1, ip-bus works great for the audio, but video is wav-vy and jump-py, not clear. it the changer messed up? did i buy a F&^%ed up changer? or is it a setting? thanks! jimmy303 Posted January 6, 2007 Report Share Posted January 6, 2007 The unit may be set for PAL video, not NTSC, but I'm not sure the XDV-P9 does that. Some older dvd copy protection systems will mess with the video interlacing, so check with another disc. You can also switch the video output to a digital output, but I don't remember what that looks like. Also try a new AV-bus cable, I've had those go bad straight out of the box.
