Do I connect this to the wiring and Axxess harness along with the parking brake wire? How should I do this? Just splice it? Suggestions are welcome! 1loudls Posted September 16, 2010 Report Share Posted September 16, 2010 yes there should be a black ground wire coming off of the metra wire harness, you will need to connect both the avic's ground and p-brake wires to this, connect it the same way that you connected all the other wires (note, you will also have to move the mute wire and ground it as well for the bypass) Quote Link to post Share on other sites
vng0 Posted September 19, 2010 Author Report Share Posted September 19, 2010 thanks! unless I'm doing something wrong it seems funny that the Axxess SWC wires connect to the main HU harness and not the OEM steering wheel control harness. In the CRV they have both of these but the Axxess instructions only talk about the main harness. Will hopefully have it all working shortly Quote Link to post Share on other sites
