1loudls Posted September 28, 2010 Report Share Posted September 28, 2010 yes if when you put the car into reverse, and the camera setting is turned on, a black screen with a warning written on it shows up then your reverse wire is already connected and you just need to plug a camera into the input, you will also need to run power back to the camera, if you tap in to the red ACC wire for the radio then you can select the camera anytime yo view while driving. VBLUE42 Posted October 25, 2010 Report Share Posted October 25, 2010 That is clearly a cheap garbage Chinese made camera and looks as if it was purchased on eBay. Your experience is usually the case when buying these garbage items. Invest a hundred bucks and get a camera that will work when you get it and will last longer then 90 days. Good luck to you. 1loudls Posted October 25, 2010 Report Share Posted October 25, 2010 also i would recommend doing the install in way that makes it simple to replace the camera if it ever does go bad, since they are located out side they have a higher probability of going bad, so try to get cameras that have connections near the camera so you wont have to completely rewire the job if needed Quote Link to post Share on other sites
