VSS and reverse wire in a '02 saab 9-5

New to the board and just picked up a D2. Couldn't justify spending almost twice as much for the Z1.

 

Any help with location of these wires would be much approcated.

 

I plan on posting pics during and after my install.

 

*Off Topic* Does anyone know if there is such thing as a balanced line driver for car audio. Meaning i need to convert a regular singal to a balanced signal.

As for your other question, some high end equipment uses a balanced signal however it's not easy stuff to come by.

Thanks for the info. I ordered the Haynes manual so hopefully that will tell me where everything is.

 

I also talked to Pac Audio, they tell me that their OEM-2 device should be what I am looking for. Hope this works.

If you are looking for a true balanced line driver, Audiocontrol makes a few, so does Zapco.

Yeah. I am looking at AudioControl as well. I am very familiar with their home products just not the car audio. I couldn't find an easy enough solution with them. I have an email into them as well. Pac Audio just got back to me sooner.

 

I might use an AudioControl piece depending on what they come back with.
