maeckes Posted November 3, 2010 Report Share Posted November 3, 2010 Hello guys! I'm from Germany, and very sorry for my bad english I have the F920BT radio by Pioneer. In Germany Pioneer doesn't support "speed cameras" in the maps. How can i get them? Also I want to know, how I can get new maps - without paying and how i can install them. Thanks for your help! VBLUE42 Posted November 3, 2010 Report Share Posted November 3, 2010 NAVGATE FEEDS is the PC app that will allow you to install custom POI and you may be able to install camera database files from there. I installed navgate feeds on my computer but I don't understand how I install the database and where I get the database. I called the pioneer service and they told me, that the camera data isn't available in germany. They also told me, that it is possible to install the speedcameras from other countrys. Call them back and ask them if German units supports a camera alert feature as the EU units do. If it doesn't then it wont matter what file you use, it wont work. Stefdude Posted November 24, 2010 Report Share Posted November 24, 2010 I do not know for Germany, but for Belgium, if you register the AVIC-F920 on the pioneer site, you get a free suscription for POICON Then you install the PIOBASE software and you can install the speed camera's (called black spots in the radio) It uses the micro SD card to install special POI on the radio Check the support section on the pioneer site, then see software update... You could try to register in the Belgian site (pioneer.be) Since in Germany they blocked this free service Quote Link to post Share on other sites
