hummer_h3 Posted December 30, 2006 Report Share Posted December 30, 2006 You can tap into the Dark blue wire at Connector C2 (natural color, 25 pin connector), pin 22 of the BCM (located under the cluster inside the I/P), or the same wire at Connector C1 (Gray 50 pin connector), Pin M2 at the left I/P fuse block. This is the backup lamp relay control wire, that goes from the BCM to the backup lamps relay. It will be hot only when the BCM receives a signal that the vehicle has been placed in reverse gear.
