A few things needed to be addressed with the deck, one of which was that the Map would wander all around even while I was parked. I was having some amps and subs installed, so I asked the tech to look at that issue. He explained that the gyro in the unit was probably bad, but he would investigate. Long story short, he said is was not repairable. While I was looking into the service mode operations and doing screen recalibration, I noticed a menu option that said something to effect of "GYRO Clear Cache". Knowing, what the tech said, I figured what the heck, so I selected this and wouldn't you know it, the map stopped wandering all over the place and while I drive it cleanly places me on roads instead of showing somewhere other than where I'm actually at.
