Remko.me
Hello All, I have just asked the dealer to install ND-BC4 a rear camera on my car. I have the Pioneer F920BT It works perfect, when i go reverse. Only when i click on the CAMERA in the menu.. it does show a black screen. I tried already changing the setting to something else then Battery, but it does not work.. then it does just show whats behind the car when I drive.. and does nothing when i reverse. Anyone got any idea?

If the camera only shows picture when you have the transmission in REVERSE, I would guess that your radio installer use the reverse wire on your taillight to power the back up camera.. Therefore your camera only gets 12V power when your reverse light is on.. The back up camera needs to be powered through a switched 12V power source, just like your radio.. Remko.me
Anyother question; Is it possible to enable Lines like, Red, Orange and Green? Normally with other navigations you see those lines.
Remko.me
Can anyone tell me the different between: Pioneer ND-BC001S and Pioneer ND-BC4 The dealer installed a Pioneer ND-BC001s and not ND-BC4. Is that a problem? I don't see any different, except from the way they look.

Remko.me
You can with the ND-BC4. How to enable it then?
1loudls
Ok, so I should ask the dealer to correct this? only if you want to ever be able to watch the camera as a source anytime the car is not inreverse (like to watch a trailer you are towing) Anyother question; Is it possible to enable Lines like, Red, Orange and Green?Normally with other navigations you see those lines. only if it is a feature of the camera (for instance, those lines show up on a factory ford because the camera has those lines built into it) The dealer installed a Pioneer ND-BC001s and not ND-BC4.Is that a problem? its not a problem, that camera doesnt have that feature How to enable it then? get the camera that does have that feature

Can anyone tell me if I paid too much for the Camera...? I paid 240 euro for installing and the camera. I'm a little worried cause they installed the Pioneer 001 and not the 4. 1loudls
well prices differ for different areas, call around and ask a few local places to see what they charge for the same thing.
