danimal86
I just plugged my avic-u220 into my computer for the first time, and i loaded the clock and picture loader. Are there any other application to load on the avic-u220? Also, how long did you wait till you got the email from pioneer to get the poi loader info? They also charged me $5 even though they said its free? Thanks!

clipman
Hi, i just got the AVIC-U220 and i cant find any applications. How did you get the clock and picture viewer?
danimal86
Download the Avic Feeds application (should be able to find it using google), install it on your computer, put a SD card in the u220, plug it into your computer using usb cable, and install it to the gps unit. the given applications are kinda useless, its a clock (ripples when you touch the screen) and a picture viewer. i want something cooler! clipman
Thanks for the reply, i did all that with no luck, ill keep trying. The apps dont sound very interesting from what you said, other apps would be cool. Thanks
danimal86
what do you mean by "no luck"? what did it do? It worked first time for me. Were you able to get it loaded on the sd card? All you have to do then is fire up your car, go to the Nav menu, click applications and it'll ask if you want to load the clock or pic viewer. clipman
when i connected the u220 to avic feeds, i didnt see option to add apps. I did see the SD option at bottom and i clicked it, it said it saved. I went to my car, and in the applications folder still no content. So i have no idea what im doing wrong. danimal86
are you able to upload anything to the SD card? It will only accept a Fat32 format, make sure its not NTSF. Plug U220 into computer Open Avic Feeds Click on Applications, window should pop up asking to select memory device, click on sd card. (see attached image), it should look like this (except the right side should show your sd card data) Click on the check box's on the left of the applications, and click on the sd card. it should transfer over. If this doesn't work, you might want to call pioneer... good luck Ohh yeah, you're not using a mac are you? I dont think avic feeds is compatible. make sure you're connected to the internet, i think the applications are located on a server.
clipman
when i select hardware for avic feeds, i do not have the option of selecting the U220, maybe thats my problem. I know there is an updated version but when i click to update it takes me to a website that doesnt exist. I am using windows 7, maybe it doesnt work with win 7.
