markhuntsville Posted January 25, 2011 Report Share Posted January 25, 2011 We just got the X920BT installed in my '04 GMC Duramax and used the Scosche SM09SR Wiring Harness w/Chime in addition to the Metra Axxess Universal Steering Wheel interface. All was good for the first day, but now the Scosche is putting out low level 'static' from the chime speaker all the time... the chime works, and sounds fine... Scosche said to 'reset' the chime module... not real confident in this. Anybody have any ideas? Quote Link to post Share on other sites
1loudls Posted January 25, 2011 Report Share Posted January 25, 2011 those scoshe modules are complete garbage, they always need to be reset and they usually burn up with in a few months. we've had a little better luck with metra axxess modules (they also are not perfect) Quote Link to post Share on other sites
