Xiph0s
I recently purchased an iphone 4 and I hooked it up using the a/v cables. Why can't I turn up or down the volume. I can access the ipod menu from the deck but what about the volume controls?
dianebrat
If you really are using a USB AND RCA cable, *and* you have them properly connected to the inputs, then you need to set AV1 to "ipod" That's all.

1loudls
why the hell would you connect a input device to a RCA output, do you not relize that the front output is a signal coming out(hence why it is called a output) of the AVIC and is supposed to go to an amp's input. since you know that you need to turn AV1 to IPOD, why wouldn't you connect the Ipod to the AV1 inputs.
