If so, has anyone tried using a Sony RM-X4S Rotary Commander / Remote with the Z120BT? http://www.crutchfield.com/S-Lbs8YVDuzHe/p_158RMX4S/Sony-RM-X4S.html I've used the RM-X4S before with lower end Pioneer units (P8000BT, P7100BT) and all of the basic remote functions worked (track forward, back, fast forward, rewind, volume up/down, mute, source). amp3d Posted April 9, 2011 Report Share Posted April 9, 2011 I know the wired remotes work via resistance, but does that mean many wired remotes will work with our units? All the sony ones should, but as far as I know there isnt any with a voice control button...maybe you could open up one of the remotes and change a resistor to map the feature to a specific button?
