BNef Posted March 29, 2011 Report Share Posted March 29, 2011 Here's what happened to my unit: Randomly my unit went into update mode from the SD card that I used to install 2.08 firmware. I left it in there since my install a year ago and have had no issues since then. As the upload was going, the screen turned red and froze. Since then I updated the SD card by deleting the old 2.08 files with a fresh 2.08 dl from the Pioneer site. I proceeded with the new update, but after it was completed I had no Nav or AV. I found some 3.0 firmware files on avic411 and tried installing the 3.0 firmware, updating WINCE, and going through testmode, copying the 3.0 files to the My Flash Disk on the unit from My Flash Disk I copied onto my SD card. I've gotten the select language set up when I initially started, but after I made my selections (both english) the unit restarted and froze at the Pioneer boot up screen. Please help. Thanks.
